RESCUE IS HARD

It’s hard to see them arrive, whether they’re battered, abandoned, or starving. Sometimes it’s just as hard to see them leave, even to the best of homes. A rescuer’s most selfless quality is to make room to save another, regardless of how it hurts to say goodbye.
